Who we are
getdesignskills.com is independently operated, based in Spain. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at hello@getdesignskills.com.
What we collect
When you purchase a skill, we collect your email address and process payment through Stripe. We never store your card details — all payment data is handled directly by Stripe, Inc. When you sign up for email updates, we store your email address and a record of your consent. We use Plausible Analytics for anonymous, aggregated usage data. Plausible does not use cookies and does not collect any personally identifiable information.
Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
We process your data on the following legal bases: (a) performance of a contract — to deliver your purchase; (b) legitimate interest — to maintain purchase records and prevent fraud; (c) consent — to send you product updates, which you can withdraw at any time.
How we use it
Your email is used solely to deliver your download and, if you opted in, to notify you when new skills are released. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data storage and retention
Purchase records are stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the EU. Download links are generated as signed, time-limited URLs that expire after 24 hours. We retain purchase records for up to 5 years for legal and accounting purposes. Email subscriber records are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
Third-party processors
We use the following sub-processors to operate the service: Stripe, Inc. (payment processing); Supabase, Inc. (database and file storage); Vercel, Inc. (hosting); Plausible Analytics (anonymous traffic analytics). Each processor operates under their own privacy policy and, where applicable, under a Data Processing Agreement with us.
Your rights (GDPR)
As an EU resident, you have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; correct inaccurate data; request deletion of your data; object to or restrict processing; withdraw consent at any time (without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing); lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority (in Spain: the AEPD, aepd.es). To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getdesignskills.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Cookies
We do not use tracking cookies. Plausible Analytics is cookieless. Stripe may set cookies during the checkout process, governed by Stripe's own privacy policy.
